Marco Silva Rules Out Iwobi For Arsenal Clash

Fulham head coach Marco Silva has provided an injury update on his squad ahead of Saturday’s league clash against Arsenal, as the Cottagers look to end their winless run at the Emirates.

With Arsenal pushing for their first Premier League title in 22 years and Manchester City close behind, Silva will be aiming to capitalize on the pressure. However, he is set to be without some key players including Alex Iwobi and Kevin Tete while others will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

The Nigerian sustained an hamstring injury in the first half of the goalless draw with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium and was replaced by his compatriot Samuel Chukwueze. He subsequently missed the 1-0 win against Aston Villa as he continues his recovery.

“Alex Iwobi is out still, plus Kevin. Kenny Tete, we will have to see how he reacts from the last two sessions. He can probably be involved in the game.

“We have some doubts on some players, but we will assess them tomorrow to see how they react from things that happened in the week.”

Fulham are firmly in the hunt for a European spot and a win at Arsenal could help solidify that ambition.
