Official: Lech Poznan Sign Ismaheel Taofeek

Lech Poznan have signed Nigerian wing wizard Ismaheel Taofeek from Gornik Zabrze.

The reigning Polish champions have secured the signing of the Nigerian on a loan deal with an option to make it permanent at the end of the season.

“Ismaheel Taofeek has been loaned to Lech Poznań until the end of the current season from Górnik Zabrze.”

The Nigerian, who is well familiar with playing on the pitches of @_Ekstraklasa_, strengthens the competition on the wings.” The club wrote on their official website.

The 25 year old only joined Gornik Zabrze in the summer of 2024 but has now secured a move to the champions following a stellar first season in Zabrze.

Having made a name for himself in the Norwegian league, Ismaheel made the move to Polish football where he immediately established himself.

The player has passed his medical examinations and has signed the necessary documents with the Europa Conference League campaigners.
