
The Nigeria National League (NNL) now have a new official sponsor as announced during the AGM on Tuesday.
The NNL have gotten a new official sponsor for the country’s second tier football.
BetPawa was announced as the sponsor for the 2025/2026 NNL season with the kick off set for November 8.
The sponsor will be responsible for cash rewards for players and officials registered on match-day squad.
“We now have BetPawa as part of NNL sponsor going into the new season. If a club wins a match, the 20 players dressed for that particular match & 5 officials will each get a match bonus of 56,000 each, latest an hour after the match” – NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau.
The traditional Super 8 at the end of the regular season has now been scrapped with the top teams from each of the four groups automatically making it to the top tier.
A super four tournament will be organized at the end of the season to determine the overall champions of the league.
