
Akanni Elijah has completed his move to Katsina United as a free agent.
The skillful midfielder departed Enyimba International at the end of last season after four years with the Aba giants.
In a post on his official X handle, the 24 year old maestro shared pictures of his new home for the 2025/2026 NPFL season.

He dedicated the move to God as he aims for “new blessings” going by his announcement.
“New home, new blessing, it’s never luck, it’s always God.” The Lagos born attacking midfielder wrote.
Whilst the length of the contract has not been revealed, it is believed that the former MFM FC of Lagos midfield dazzler has signed a one year contract.
After four years at two time African champions Enyimba International, Elijah begins his journey with The Changi Boys where he signed as a free agent.
After links to several NPFL heavyweights, Akanni Elijah chose the Northern club as destination for the furtherance of his career.
