Paul Onuachu Fires Brace To Continue Red Hot Form

Paul Onuachu was yet on fire for Trabzonspor as he fired a brace in their 3-0 away victory over Samsunspor.

The Nigerian striker has been one of the hottest commodities in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

After a year away in the Premier League, Onuachu returned to the scene in Turkey, picking up where he left off in the 2023/2024 season.

 This season, the 31 year old has been leading the line convincingly for Fatih Tekke’s side with 15 goals in 18 Super Lig appearances.

After struggling in the Premier League with Southampton, the Super Eagles striker found his way back to Trabzonspor and has since been firing on all cylinders.

With Saturday’s brace, Onuachu is now the leading top scorer in the Super Lig with fifteen goals, one more than Eldor Shomurodov.

He has helped his side to remain within touching distance of leaders Galatasaray who’re four points ahead of Trabzonspor with a game in hand.
