UEFA Champions League: Perfect Arsenal Headline Group Phase Results

Arsenal finished the group phase of the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League with a perfect win record.

The Gunners swept aside all eight of their group phase opponents to finish the 36 team log with a maximum of 24 points.

Their 3-2 win at home to Kairat Almaty on the last day secured their perfect record as well as the bragging right of never going behind in any of their games.

Bayern Munich finished second behind the Premier League leaders who inflicted their only defeat of the group phase.

The Bavarians finished with twenty one points after seeing off PSV Eindhoven in Holland to finish second.

Liverpool won six of eight to claim 3rd while Tottenham Hotspur finished 4th with seventeen points.

Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting Lisbon and Manchester City all finished on sixteen points to complete the top eight and seal automatic qualification to the round of 16.

Real Madrid and Inter occupy 9th and 10th place with fifteen points apiece while PSG and Newcastle United occupy the next two spots with fourteen points each.

Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen make the top sixteen and thus, join the other four from 9th-12th as teams to play their second legs at home during the playoffs.

Borussia Dortmund, Olympiacos, Club Brugge, Galatasaray SK, AS Monaco, Qarabag FK, Bodo Glimt and Benfica, who snatched a surprising 4-2 win over Real Madrid complete the playoff teams.

The remaining twelve teams including Italian champions Napoli and Spanish sides Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao are now eliminated from this season’s tournament.

The draws for the playoffs will be made on Friday, January 30, 2026, while every other draw leading up to the final will also be confirmed.
