Manchester United Hit With Big Injury Blow

Manchester United have been hit with a big injury blow after news on Patrick Dorgu’s injury came out early Tuesday.

The 21 year old was substituted in the closing stages of the 3-2 win against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, where he got on the scoresheet.

What was initially seen as a minor cramp has now degenerated to a hamstring injury following result of scans carried out on the player, reports Laurie Whitwell.

Dorgu scored a belter in the game to put Manchester United 2-1 ahead, his second goal in as many games.

After suffering under Erik Ten Hag in his first season at Old Trafford, the Danish international has settled in well at the club this term.

He has scored three and provided another three for the Red Devils in twenty two Premier League games.

The Nigerian descent defender has now been pronounced to be out for up to ten weeks, final recovery details of which is being checked. A disappointment to the player and the club at large.

His injury comes as a big blow to interim manager Michael Carrick who seems to have unlocked the goalscoring secret of the fullback.
