Ismaheel Taofeek Wins Top Award

Lech Poznan winger Ismaheel Taofeek has been recognized with yet another award for his blistering performances playing for Polish champions Lech Poznan.

The 25-year-old has been voted the Revelation Player of the year at the 2025 Cool Wealth Awards.

Taofeek was nominated alongside prominent talents like Chibuike Nwaiwu of Trabzonspor, Emmanuel Uchenna of Sparta Praha, Obah Prosper of Shakhtar Donetsk and Yusuf Abdulazeez of Mjallby AIF.

He took to his social media platform to commend the organizers of the award.

“Greatly honoured. Thank you @Coolwealthawards.” He wrote.

The Lagos born mesmerizing winger’s brilliance for Gornik Zabrze last season earned him a move to reigning Ekstraklasa champions Lech Poznan.

He has since continued to show his sublime form in the colors of The Kolejors, where he has shone like a million stars in their European campaign.

His two goals and two assists across six games earned Lech Poznan a place in the first knockout stage of the UEFA Conference League.

With the Polish Ekstraklasa on break until the end of January, the former FC Lorient of France winger is currently in the United Arab Emirates where Lech Poznan are having a training retreat.
