German Onugkha continues goalscoring run in Fatih Karagumruk’s thriller

A convincing performance saw German Onugkha rewarded with a brace as Kayserispor played out a four goal thriller with Fatih Karagumruk yesterday at the Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium.

The goal saw the Russian-Nigeria forward continue his goalscoring streak as he has now recorded three goals in two games to put himself in the Super Lig golden boot race with fellow countryman Paul Onachu currently leading the pack.

German Onugkha scored his first league goal last week as his side fell to a disappointing 3-1 loss to Samsunspor at the Heart of the City but it was all a consolation strike.

Languihing at the bottom of the log, Onugkha and Kayserispor have a daunting task at hand as they push to keep their Turkish topflight status.

Up next is the home game against Kasimpasa where they would be hoping to scoop all three points in the race to halt their abysmal run to the campaign.
